Tennis Ball Machines - Perfect for Busy People

I have considered purchasing a tennis ball machine for a while now. It seemed like a lot of money, so I simply decided to put it out of my mind and move onto other things. However their value has become more apparent to me based on a personal experience. This experience is difficult to put out of my mind, and as a result so are tennis ball machines. Actually what happened to me may be similar to many others. The good thing is that this experience alone helped convince my significant other that tennis ball machines are worth the investment.

When visiting Clifford, a friend that I have known for a long time, we decided to have a game. This brought back good memories. Memories of when we played together years ago as neighbors. Our games were always close but in recent years he has been able to enjoy the game more than me. My life was busier with other commitments, and he had a group of friends nearby that kept him quite sharp. The following morning would be our first match in years. Just as we arrived at the courts, two from his group showed up. Yes, two from the same group that kept his game 'quite sharp'. So I decided to take on my new found rivals in a good old game of doubles. I had hoped that the warm up would work out some of the rust in my game. But that was not to be. The other two were like grand slam champs in comparison. One of them was quite obnoxious though. He would mock and laugh with each point he won. He sounded like that - 'another game for Milo's' character off of Seinfeld. The main difference was that this guy was actually good. It was rather frustrating.

I could see Clifford perplexed about my game. He really wanted to beat these guys. I was the weak link. Finally it happened, Clifford makes the suggestion, 'hey, why don't we just rotate partners'. Those words rung in my ears like a school lunch bell. To top it off, our two rivals did not take him up on his offer. They just stood there like deer staring into headlights, motionless. At that point I visualized replacing those two guys with tennis ball machines. At least a tennis ball machine would let me get some practice in.

Well, that was how I kicked off my vacation. This is why I cannot get tennis ball machines off the brain. And since my life was too busy to play as frequently as my friend Clifford, I needed a way to compensate.

So this is why I have been looking into tennis ball machines. My wife thinks it's a good idea because it would let me get in some concentrated practice. This means I could practice for a couple hours at a time, and get back home. To get that much practice in with another person would take much longer. This would let me accomplish what i needed to, and spend more time with the family. She would also like to see me enjoy a game more when playing against others, and not coming home so frustrated. I figure that practice is what I needed.

Tennis ball machines can have adjustable speeds, and precise locations, picking corners of the tennis court. Many if not most can hit 65 mph and up. Also the hopper for many tennis ball machines can hold between 250-300 tennis balls. This means a lot of repetition, exactly what I needed with my busy life. With long life batteries and a compact size that fits in the trunk of my car, and they can virtually go anywhere. There is another benefit - tennis ball machines will never mock you, and shout back 'another game for Milo's!
